On an iPhone? Add TeacherSync to your Home Screen
TeacherSync is not on the App Store. iPhone and iPad users use the web app, which you can add to your Home Screen from Safari in under a minute. It then opens from its own icon, full screen, just like an app.
- Open Safari and go to app.reliefmanager.edu.lk
- Tap the Share button (a square with an arrow pointing up). On newer iOS versions, tap the ••• button first, then Share.
- Tap Add to Home Screen If you cannot see it, scroll down the list.
- Keep the name TeacherSync and tap Add. If you see an Open as Web App switch, leave it on.
- Open TeacherSync from its new icon and sign in once with your mobile number and OTP.
Use Safari for this. On iOS 16.4 and later, Chrome and Edge also show Add to Home Screen in their Share menu, but Safari is the most reliable.

For principals
Fewer missed relief periods, fewer phone calls
When teachers can see their relief periods themselves, the office no longer has to chase people down corridors, and classes are not left alone because a slip went missing.
TeacherSync reads straight from your Relief Manager data, so there is nothing extra to set up beyond each teacher's mobile number.
See Relief Manager pricingTeacherSync questions
Is TeacherSync free for teachers?
Yes. TeacherSync is included for every teacher at a school that uses Relief Manager. There is nothing for teachers to pay.
Which phones does it work on?
There is an Android app, and a web app at app.reliefmanager.edu.lk that works on iPhone, Android and computers. There is no App Store app, so iPhone users add the web app to their Home Screen from Safari. See the steps.
Will the iPhone version work like a real app?
Yes. Once added to the Home Screen, TeacherSync opens from its own icon, full screen, without the Safari address bar. It shows the same Today, Weekly, Leave and About tabs as the Android app.
How do I sign in?
Choose your school, enter the mobile number your school has on record for you, then type the one-time code (OTP) sent to that number. No password to remember.
My number is not accepted. What should I do?
Ask your Relief Manager administrator (usually the deputy principal or IT teacher) to check the WhatsApp number saved against your name in Manage Teachers.
When does a relief period appear in the app?
As soon as the administrator presses Confirm & Save in Relief Manager. Open the Today tab to see it.
