Relief Manager is a cloud system for Sri Lankan schools that assigns relief (substitute) teachers when staff are absent. It imports your timetable from aSc Timetables, finds which teachers are free in each period, assigns relief periods fairly, and notifies teachers by WhatsApp, SMS and the TeacherSync app. It is made by Dual Atom Technologies in Tissamaharama. ### Does Relief Manager work with aSc Timetables? Yes. Export your timetable from aSc Timetables as an XML file and upload it on the Import Timetable page. Teachers, classes, subjects and every period are read in one step, so there is nothing to type again. When the timetable changes, import the new XML. ### Our school does not use aSc. Can we still use it? Yes. Relief Manager also imports MDB and CSV exports from local Sri Lankan timetable software such as Srimalee. If your timetable is only on paper or in Excel, contact us and we will help you move it in. ### How does it decide which teacher gets a relief period? Each free teacher is scored on rules you weight yourself: subject partner, same subject, same class, free periods left today, relief already done this week, and how close their previous class is. The highest score is suggested first, and you can change any choice before you confirm. Teachers with blocked periods, and exempt classes, are skipped automatically. ### How do teachers find out about their relief duties? Four ways, and you can use any of them: a WhatsApp message with the day's relief tasks and timetable, an SMS through a Sri Lankan SMS gateway, the free TeacherSync app for Android, iPhone and web, and printed relief slips. ### Is it available in Sinhala and Tamil? The help centre and FAQs are in English, Sinhala and Tamil, WhatsApp templates can be written in any language, and PDF reports print teacher and subject names correctly in Sinhala and Tamil Unicode. ### Do we need to install anything? No. Your school gets its own address such as yourschool.reliefmanager.edu.lk and works from any browser on a computer, tablet or phone. An administrator account makes changes and a read-only viewer account lets others see the day's relief. ### How much does Relief Manager cost? Rs. 20,000 per year, Rs. 50,000 for three years, or Rs. 100,000 as a one-time purchase. Every plan includes all features and the TeacherSync app for your teachers. ### What if the power or internet fails in the morning? The help centre includes printable emergency relief templates: individual assignment slips and a master board. Keep a few copies in the principal's or section head's office so the morning can still run on paper. ## Pages - [Home](https://reliefmanager.edu.lk/): overview of Relief Manager - [Features](https://reliefmanager.edu.lk/features): full feature list with screenshots - [TeacherSync](https://reliefmanager.edu.lk/teachersync): the free teacher app (OTP sign-in; Today, Weekly, Leave, About tabs) - [How to use](https://reliefmanager.edu.lk/how-to-use): eight-step setup and daily guide - [Pricing](https://reliefmanager.edu.lk/pricing): plans and what is included - [Contact](https://reliefmanager.edu.lk/contact): demo, quotation and support - [Sinhala site](https://reliefmanager.edu.lk/si/): සිංහල අනුවාදය ## Articles - [aSc Timetables Sinhala Tutorial (2026): Full Video Series for Sri Lankan Schools](https://reliefmanager.edu.lk/blog/asc-timetables-sinhala-tutorial): Learn aSc Timetables in Sinhala, from installing the software to printing a 2026 school timetable, with an 11-part video series, plus how to manage relief periods afterwards. - [How to Export an aSc Timetables XML File (and Import It into Relief Manager)](https://reliefmanager.edu.lk/blog/export-asc-timetables-xml): A step-by-step guide to exporting your school timetable from aSc Timetables as XML, checking it, and importing teachers, classes and periods into Relief Manager in one step. - [How to Manage Relief Periods in Sri Lankan Schools: A Fair, 10-Minute Morning](https://reliefmanager.edu.lk/blog/relief-period-management-sri-lanka): Why relief allocation eats the morning, what makes it unfair, and a practical method (and software) for assigning relief teachers fairly and on time. - [School Timetable and Relief Software for Sri Lankan Schools: 2026 Comparison](https://reliefmanager.edu.lk/blog/school-timetable-software-sri-lanka): aSc Timetables, FET, Untis, EduPage substitutions, Roster and Relief Manager compared for Sri Lankan schools: what each one does, cost model, language support and relief handling. ## Contact - WhatsApp / phone: +94 77 688 8988 - Email: info@reliefmanager.edu.lk - Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/DualAtom - Hours: Monday–Friday, 4 PM–10 PM Sri Lanka time (UTC+5:30)
